Actor. Tango Dancer. Teacher. Iski Senna a.k.a Iskandar Zulkarnain lets no boundaries define who he is.
This Intrepid thespian lives his life to the code, “If you don’t try, you don’t know”
He hails from the bustle of Kuala Lumpur, though he considers his mother’s hometown of Sandakan, Sabah to be his home.
A meteoric riser in the KL Theater scene, he actually came into the cut throat entertainment industry right after his sixth form studies, where he was mercilessly tested by the TV and film world. After 2 years, he abandoned his dreams of stardom and studied to be a pastry chef.
In 2010, after a disastrous move to a struggling baked goods company, he decided to re-enter the world of acting. Only this time in Theater, but with a vengeance.
A string of performances at venues such as KLPAC and MaTIC auditorium saw his acting abilities tested, as he performs a myriad of styles from sketch comedy to tension filled drama.
His Tango dancing life came before Theater, and he has since performed on a large scale, such as with the KL Tango Festival and the World Bachata Festival, and also in small, intimate private functions.
If he’s got some spare time away from Tango, Theater and his Talent, he can be found tinkering with his 1979 Datsun or on the track with his beloved bikes.
